I want to put some hook screw things in the dry wall studs. and run a cord to a sheet. and its a hammock. But my concern is will the stud support the load I weigh like 160-170. But will I be able to accomplish this using simply some power drill some hook screws and a stud finder or like what stuff should I get if I need more.

will two 4" diameter cherry trees support a double sized hammock?

I really don’t want to buy a hammock stand, and I found two trees in my backyard in a beautiful location that are 15 feet apart. however, the trees are thin in diameter (about 4 inches in diameter) and I was wondering if they will still support my future hammock?

Also, how high up should i drill the holes in the tree to put in the screws? I want the hammock up pretty high off of the ground, but not so high that i have to jump up to get in the hammock.

Thank you so much!

Alternate ways to hang a hammock indoors..?

Hey all,

I’m getting a hammock so that I can sleep in my studio space but unfortunately there are no beams in the wall for me to fix the screws into. It is only a small space so there isn’t really enough room for me to have a stand for it. I was just wondering if anyone knew any other possible ways I could hang
It safely?

Please go into detail if you have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance

The canopy for our hammock was blown off due to strong winds. We need to get the Canopy Frame Connectors and screws to put it back and can not get to the Courtyard Creation web site to order them. Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Is it safe to assume that the corners where two walls meet is safe to put a support screw for a hammock?

I want to hang a hammock in my room, and I am not sure how to do it. Can I put the support screws for the hammock in the corners assuming that this is a safe option?

How much weight can my wood studs hold? Will it support my hammock?

I want to hang a hammock in my room off two studs (either in the wall or in the roof). I expect to place less than 400 lbs in the hammock at any given time. i would use two s-hooks and hook screws. Is this sufficient?
