I have a hammock chair, but do not know what type of hook to buy to hang it from my celeing . I am aware that it needs to be attached to a beam for the support.

i am buying a hammock chair soon to go in my room and i want it to hang from the ceiling, but i dont know how safe and sturdy it would be. we just have regular flat ceilings and now beams on the outside or anything….so how do i hang it and how safe would it be???? thanks!!

Help how do you put up a hammock chair? ok see i have this chair and its supposed to hang from the ceiling but i lost the pieces for it. there is a wodden rod at the top of th chair and then on either side there is some rope which attaches to a ring and the top. You hang the chair from this ring; so how would i hang it up

I have a small single point suspension hammock chair. Right now it is hanging from the ceiling on my back porch. I would love to be able to bring this chair to school and have it in my dorm but stands are almost 200 dollars and that is not what i really want to spend my money on. Of course, as long as it’s in a stud beam? I want to hang a baby hammock near our bed, but our ceiling is sloped. Can those eye lags hold weight if a thing is hung from it at an angle?
It’s a hammock that hangs just from one point like a hammock chair, not from two posts. A frame is another possibility, but I worry that it wouldn’t have the same range of motion and well, a frame is just bulky and expensive.
We are finishing the basement and I have a hammock chair that I want it hung there. I am being discouraged since we are going to have a drop-down ceiling. Please give me details (hardware list) on how to do it.
