I’m thinking of getting a new rat cage, but I don’t know which rat cage would be better …. I have two rats BTW and I want it to be big enough where I can fit the following:

There might be a time when I have three rats (maybe) so I think all of these would hold them. If anyone has ever had any of these cages before I would love their input on them, though the reviews say they’re pretty good. Thanks so much!
I know Ferret Nations are said to be the best cages on the market for Ferrets, but recently a woman offered to sell me this one for 0

It stands 5′ also comes with a stand with rollers that makes it another 10" high.
It is new and includes hammocks and a lot of other accessories.
With probably some cage/ramp lining, does it look to be a good one?
She paid about 0 originally for the cage. She had bought it for her one ferret but it had died of adrenal disease shortly after.

Right now they are in a bedroom they are using but would like to get a cage too. Money is not an option really, since I expected to spend a lot when I took them in.

Also, should I put some kind of cloth or towel on the hammock, because I can’t wash the hammock, but I can change the bedding.
Me & My fiance got a baby ferret a couple of weeks ago from petco, we got her a hammock/sling type thing, she sleeps in it. Well for the past couple of days, she’s been filling her hammock with her bedding, we gave her a sock and a handkerchief…Why is she doing it? Also, when I put my hand in to pet her/grab her, she bites me.

I used to have ferrets and still have the cage and old hammock. Im thinking about getting some hamsters. So can they?
my mom said it would be less expensive to make a hammock of our own for my fuzzies(ferrets), and we don’t know where to find a pattern for it.
Okay, so I want to add a hammock to my guinea pigs cage. My ferret had a hammock and loved it. I know ferrets and guinea pigs are very different. If you have a guinea pig with a hammock, how does it do with it, and what does it do? If you did research, do they actually love them? Will they be comfortable? Will it be a waste of time? Could I make ir from a washcloth? Thanks for your answers!
