It’s their way of venting , because the Air Force wouldn’t let them enlist, and they had to go enlist in another branch.

Army, Navy and Marines, give their people a Medal for
    " good conduct ".

The Air force expects " good conduct " from everyone all the time.

So the Air Force doesn’t give " good conduct medals "

I have not heard the air force called that before, but the most likely reason is because the air force is the most laid back of all of the military branches.

We all have names for each other, but we are all equally important.

The Air Force may be the most important aspect of any Military. To be able to use such destructive force while not being at such risk…

The Air Force is the reason we could destroy any country at any time.

what the first guy said, definitely the most chilled and "cushy" of us all we like to say. they also get paid more, have better accommodations when deploying, and their physical training isn’t as demanding.

Because it’s the easiest…Hence a chair. Plus it rhymes. Very catchy…

The Air Force only gets paid more under certain conditions. Our base pay is the same regardless of branch. But flight pay, hazard pay, seps pay, etc are given out depending on your job and your deployment status. Sometimes the AF benefits from it, but all of the other branches do as well.

That is because of a perception that the Air Force is the easiest of the military branches. But in reality, all the braches serve a very valuable purpose, and we are ultimately all on the same team.

The USAF is often referred to as the CHAIR FORCE because most of their operations can be handled SITTING DOWN. No ground pounding, no fox hole digging, not much tent living…with the exception of support forces sometimes.
The other branches make fun of the USAF, but when it comes to air support, who is usually called on? USAF.
We all carry the same ID card, get our pay the same way and fight for and serve the same country…regardless of branch of service.
