The 'air' you're feeling is probably a draft from the floor boards or base boards thats coming up from your house shifting or a breeze outside. From the paranormal aspect, I'd say you'd feel it throughout your whole body if it was an entity, rather than just your feet. :) Well, from a scientific stand point, your feet are much more susceptible to temperature changes, even minute ones.
