How to fix my computer chair with air?

February 6th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

I got a new computer chair about a week ago. Basically any time i wanted to go down with the chair i would just pull the handle down then it would work. Same with up i would need to pull it up then it would go up. Now it doesn’t work it just falls by itself without even me pulling on the handle. Basically i want to go up without falling by itself. Any ideas?

Click here for the picture of the exact chair.

The chair has a slender under it and the seal in it has busted. You may have to replace the chair.I don’t know of any place that you can buy a replacement slender.

    Complicated stuff..
Youd have to create a vacuum.

These things work by decreasing pressure in a chamber by releasing the handle.

Try to tape the handle or seal up the chamber par more.

Make sure the prime is sealed..

the handle is attached to a small air valve. the chair column is really a small air cylinder, when u squeeze the handle , you open the valve. the seal in the valve is shot so it looses air and the seat goes down
