How do you fix an inflatable (blow up) chair?
Ok, so me and my brother were pumping air into the chair, and I think we pumped to much air in it becuase while he was pumping it, we heard a burst or something and we stopped, and it shrinked kinda. You can still sit in it, but it got smaller. Should we pump more air in it to make it bigger, or should we leave it alone, OR should deflate it then inflate again. PLEASE! WE NEED HELP!
Don’t pump more air into it yet. You want to find where the burst happened, and pumping it up more won’t help, it’ll probably make it worse. First thing you want to do is locate the leak. After you have found it, you can patch it up with duct tape or any other kind of heavy duty tapes like that. Once you’ve patched it up, fill it with a bit more air. Then put gentle pressure on it and see if it still deflates. If it does, keep searching for all the leaks until you’ve patched ‘em all up. Hope this helps! Good luck!
Either buy a new one or use duct tape to seal the tear.
apply soapwater all over it and continue pumping. youll spot the leak in no time, because leakspot will bubble. then dry it, fix it and pump it to its full size.
I agree put some soapy water on the chair it will bubble up. Do not use duct tape. It will still leak. Depending on the size of the leak.Go to a bike store ,or wal mart and get a vinyl repair kit.
