How can I remove the cigarette smoke smell from a leather chair?

I just recently received a beautiful leather chair from my grandmother and she smoked. Now the chair just reeks of cigarette smoke. Is there anyway to remove the smell. There is no empty space to isolate the chair or putting it outside to air out is impossible. Also, I received a velour like chair from her in the same smelly condition, anyway to get it out? We tried Febreze to mask it but it’s too strong.

I’ve cleaned leather like that with a solution of very warm (not hot) water and Ivory dish soap, and then used leather conditioner.

Try using a blow dryer. Believe it or not, when I would go into a smokey club & then leave, I would smell like cigarette smoke. I would stick my head under the hand dryer in the bathroom to get the smell out of my hair & it worked. Good luck!
