Bean bag chair lost it's air?
Over a Month ago I bought a beanbag chair, it’s not a very expensive one, only cost and it’s an adult xrocker, when I first got it, it had some air in it, it was tight, and kept me off the ground.
When my nephew comes over he’s really rough with it, jumping on it and err… other things, he’s kinda heavy, almost as heavy as me! but I just noticed something about my chair.
It still sits O.K. but I noticed it’s a little flat and when I sit on it my butt goes to the floor!
It’s not ripped from as far as I can tell, (no beans have leaked out) but it seems to have lost it’s air, is this normal? or has he ruined my chair? ![]()
All my bothers and sisters have bean bag chairs and they are all flat like that. They are very rough with them( and everything else) if I was you I would get a new beanbag chair and hide it when my nephew came over. Sorry about you beanbag chair
hope this helps:)
Fluff it up like you would fluff a pillow. If none of the styrofoam pellets inside are leaking out, then it is still good.
your nep. flattened out the beads.. get some scrap memory foam pieces and refluff it with that.. Ebay sells it.. to fill giant bean bags..
The styrofoam pellets become flattened over time, or on the fast track with kids jumping on the chair. I loaned mine to a friend (teenager) that just got his own place. When I got it back it was flat too. AhhProds.com sells refilling material. They even have "environmentally friendly" filling that is re-purposed, previously unused polystyrene that might otherwise end up in a landfill. It’s an easy fix!
