That and she's stashing what you've given her because they like to steal and stash lots of things-toys,remotes,shoes, etc. Since she's a kit she's still in a bitey phase. DO NOT EVER and I mean EVER hit, kick, or "bop" your ferret on her nose or anywhere else. She will not understand this punishment and may become aggressive or extremely scared of you. The proper punishment for a ferret is to "scruff" them, just like you would grab a cat up by it's scruff you do the same to the ferret because that is how their mother would punish them. She should go limp and usually yawn. Then a stern "no" and mean face/finger wagging should do the trick. It could take one day or a week to get her to learn but she will. It seems like she's nest building. At the shop, were females separated from males? On the other hand, she might just be nesting normally. Did you know ferret actually means little thief in Latin? They like to gather things and put them in their "burrows". They are just silly creatures. Your ferret is still young and doesn't know not to bite, you need to tap her nose and say "NO" in a loud stern voice when she does it. Even if it isn't a painful bite, you still should because she will begin to bite harder to test you. Good luck! Ferrets like to collect things.
