It’s not ‘bad’…per se, BUT it isn’t good for your back. If you do some research in some of the chiropractic sites, they point out that hammocks and waterbeds are horrible for your back. If you are young, then I am sure it’s all good for a while, since your back is young and strong, but it’s not the optimal choice in the long run for your body’s best interest.

My back is hurting just thinking about it.
Its may be cool, but its get really uncomfortable. I went camping and we used hammocks. You fell trapped and you cant change body position.
Also my back was a mess the next day. Its cool and you save a ton of space, but its not that great for real sleep.
