San Juan, Hawaii or USVI?
Here is a question for someone well traveled. My husband and i are looking to take a trip in October to some place tropical and those are our options. We are looking for a complete beach vacation, that means the water should be calm and warm enough to swim (we don’t care for pools all that much). Ideally, we are looking for just something breathtaking and simple. We just want to spend few days hanging in the hammocks on the beach. I’d appreciate your suggestions (please be as specific as you can about your locations). Thanks:)
You have already had this question ANSWERED the LAST 3 TIMES YOU ASKED IT.. is there some reason you have to keep asking this very same question why you have already gotten some great answers to it?… I won’t play your game any longer.
I’ve been to Hawaii twice and traveling to USVI this November.
If you are going to Hawaii, make sure you make it off the main Island. Ether Maui or Kauai are my first choice. Also, rent a beach house and heli ride and you are good to go.
The I have a friend who just took a trip to Puerto Rico (not sure exactly where) and he said the poverty there was a big deterrent for him in the large cities. If you are looking for breathtaking, I will suggest Hawaii.
Puerto Rico
If you go to Puerto Rico and wish to enjoy the beach and sunny days, then I would wait until spring time because you can be a bit disappointed in PR with rainy days and hurricane seasons, most beaches have seaweed in the fall and winter. the waters are nice and clear when in the spring and summer time.
I dont know about Hawaii but I would not recommend PR in the fall season. I would go in March or April because the weather and everything is perfect, clear, breeze and dreamy.
@t adela: poverty in PR? I think your friend took a trip to haiti instead of PR.
PR is no third world country its part of the US and therefore some people may live in humble or project areas but not of hunger. Hawaii and all places have ghettos, there is no such thing as a paradise, so maybe your friend went to a hotspot city project area were she wasn’t suppose to. Now in PR beaches and breathtaking scenes are away from those ghettos. Ive never been to hawaii but my husband has and he said it was very beautiful but there is places whom you should not visit and lots of drugs.
U can go to quiet places in PR it has awsome beach but you must go to a hotel not a public beach, anyway october is not a good choice, go to south america
first trip hawaii, second trip usvi and last trip san juan.in that order
hawaii is not going to be humid but warm and the water will be nice.
san juan and usvi will be hotter and more humid still.the water of course will be like bath water.
san juan and usvi are great during the winter cooler but still warm and the water will still be nice to swim in.
the guy above said you already asked the same question and got great answers
