My ferret wont sleep in his hammock, should i just take it out?

my ferret wont sleep in his hammock, and i dont know if i should just take it out, ive only had him for a couple days, but he doesnt seem to like it, and he cant climb up to the second level to get to the food dish, so i moved it for now.

    I would give him time to get used to his surroundings. If you change too much too quickly, he won’t be able to acclimate.
    Give him time to figure things out. Besides, it’s not hurting him, or bothering him, so let him figure out what is is and what it’s for.

    Your ferret is probably still a baby and is not big enough or strong enough to reach all of the levels of his cage. Keep everything in the cage. Soon he will be big enough to navigate everything. :)
