Make your own hammock for rats?

I don’t want to buy a hammock from a pet store because they are quite expensive and i would rather make my own one. how do you make one? Any websites, your own experience or Photos?
Its not a hamster, its a rat genius!

Why would a hamster need a hammock? Just give them water and food and you should be fine.

Not worth it.. Just buy one its cheaper, better for the rats and easier for you.

Since our girls in particular make short work of their hammocks, I just buy fleece whenever it’s on sale, cut it to the appropriate size & use clips to hang the pieces in the cages. Any hammocks that survive are put into a bag when they get soiled & when the bag is full I toss ‘em in the laundry.

There are lots of really cute hammocks available & I used to buy or make these, but since they never last long with our rats, the no-frills way works for me.
