Is this baby name too "out there"?

Thinking of naming my baby girl Irieanna (eye-ree-Anna). My husband and I were married in Jamaica and one day while we were taking a romantic walk on the beach, we stopped and took a seat on a hammock. We started talking about the future and we agreed that the name Irie (a saying in Jamaica) would be a really cool name and that if we ever had a girl, that’s what we would name her.
Plus my mothers middle name is Irene…so it is sentiment in so many ways. I added the "anna" to try to make it sound a bit less…idk..hippie freak lol…But do you think it’s too "out there" lol. Thank you for your answers!
Haha..noooo I’m not from the getto..hahaha…but thanks for the insight

I like it a lot I think it’s pretty and totally unique but I’d spelled it differently because right now it’s on vowel overload ha-ha maybe spell it like Irianna or Iryanna.

    Hope I helped!

That sounds like a ghetto name. Are you from the ghetto?

Every teacher or nurse in the doctor’s office or anyone who has to read this name from a list is going to BOTCH it up. For goodness sake–don’t give a child a name that people can’t pronounce!! If you are going to use it, spell it in a better way: Irianna. That would be easier to figure out.

People have a habit of messing up names so be aware she might get called Arianna a lot. I like the way it sounds and I don’t think it’s ghetto or out there. It’s very original. However I do like the way Irie sounds. India Irie got away with it so I think your kid could pull it off too lol but Irieanna is a nice name too and I also will agree spelling it Irianna will make it more likely to be pronounced correctly.

I think it’s both unique and pretty. I say go for it! It’s your baby and I think it’s better to have an uncommon name than a name 2 million other people have. Oh and to the person that said people would screw it up, I don’t care what your name is even it’s common someone will always "botch" it up. My mother named me Ginifer pronounced JENN-I-FER and no matter where I go someone always calls me Ginger or says it really slow like they have no clue what my name is.

I personally think you should just go with Irie!
I think Irieanna sounds too fussy and actually a bit oldfashioned, but not the good kind of oldfashioned, maybe because of all the other names ending in -anna, I don’t know..
