Is it safe to assume that the corners where two walls meet is safe to put a support screw for a hammock?

I want to hang a hammock in my room, and I am not sure how to do it. Can I put the support screws for the hammock in the corners assuming that this is a safe option?

    That depends entirely on what the wall are made from and the type of fixings used. A hammock is going to need a very strong support so get some expert advice before trying it out otherwise you might have a hard landing when the hammock crashed to the ground.

    Not sure, I don’t think I’d do it. You should find the studs and anchor the screws to that. Or find the support beams in the ceiling and suspend it from those. Here’s a link that might help:
