How to hang a hammock in a small room, without drilling?

Hey all,

Looking at hanging a hammock in a small apartment room at my college. Unfortunately it has nothing to hang hooks on. I have a walk-in closet where I can attach one end of a hammock, but nothing on the other side of the room except for a window (the blinds rack is not stable enough to hang a hammock off of).

Bit of a crappy problem. I can’t drill holes in the wall. I was hoping to go without a hammock stand, because those normally cost 0+. Any tips?

Without being to anchor it to your wall, you will have to go with a stand. There is no other safe way to do this. Good luck.

use wood, its cheap, and if you have a handyman, or if you are one, its safe and sturdy ;)
