How much weight can my wood studs hold? Will it support my hammock?

I want to hang a hammock in my room off two studs (either in the wall or in the roof). I expect to place less than 400 lbs in the hammock at any given time. i would use two s-hooks and hook screws. Is this sufficient?

I have done this very thing in my apartment. Works fine.

But in my opinion, 400 lbs does start to push it. You could try doing two hooks per side of the hammock or something like that to make sure it holds.

I would use ceiling joists. I would also use 1/2" diameter hook screws
