How do you hang a hammock on a pair of palm trees?

    You can drill straight through a palm tree and run a 1/2 inch threaded rod through. either bend the rod or use a big washer on one end, and bend the rod on the hammock end into a hook. You should be able to bend it with a pipe wrench while the rod is inside the hole in the tree to keep it straight. It will not kill the tree, they’re fibrous and will withstand just about anything, and will heal around the rod.
