how can i protect my self from my friends dog?

i sleep over my friends house every once and a while and need to protect myself from his dog it is a small havenese. but she goes for the jugular. and i need to find something to keep her away from killing me. the floor size is about 7-8 feet (length) X 2-4 feet (width). and it needs to be portable. i have tryed a portable mesh hammock but it didnt work and now she wakes me up by biting me till i bleed. plz help soon 0-0 (the dog only bites me and my friend)
the dog is also for some reason able to open the door. and not just that his brother open it

    Close the door to the room you will be sleeping in and have either some mace or pepper spray on hand.
    Or just plain old sleep at home.

    Also, a Havanese? If it’s really that mean, one foot ought to do the job. :o p

    I was thinking boot to the head but crating the dog is actually more humane.
