Hanging A Hammock Chair In A Dorm Room

February 28th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

I have a small single point suspension hammock chair. Right now it is hanging from the ceiling on my back porch. I would love to be able to bring this chair to school and have it in my dorm but stands are almost 200 dollars and that is not what i really want to spend my money on. I’m not allowed to damage my room in any way so i was wondering if anybody has solutions or suggestions for ways i can hang this chair up without a stand?

The only thing that I can think of is hanging it somehow on a bunk if you have one.

Or maybe if there is some sort of pole or sturdy object on you ceiling.

Other than that it looks like you’d have to get a stand, you could probably find a cheap one somewhere online or in stores!
