Does sleeping in a hammock for extended periods of time leave permanent effects?

I’ve been sleeping in a hammock every night since about October. I switched one out with my regular bed. But sometimes I find myself slouching a lot more than usual, and I am very conscious of my back now. I’m always straightening it. Does anyone know if hammocks can harm the back? It’s a Mayan hammock, no bars, and I sleep in it so my back arches with the curve of the hammock.

I think you need to get your bed back, as that is not a natural position to be sleeping in all of the time.

    best wishes..
