a beach themed bedroom?
i love the beach so i was thinking i could decorate my room kinda like one,since I’m already getting 3 walls replaced(out of 6 )(oddly shaped room,i know) so i was thinking light blue walls but one of the walls is sticking out i little because in the next room there’s a fireplace,so for that wall i was thinking like a beach scene,a little sandy paint on the bottom with beautiful ocean stretching out over the horizon and there would be a silhouette of a palm tree…get a yellow rug for the center of the wooden floor , hang paper lanterns, sea shells around the room , (and if i can find a cheap one, for a room,a lifeguard chair 
) I’ll hang posters and a wooden tiki head i have oh and while i was bored i made a hammock its made outta sheets, but i didn’t have rope What do you think of this bedroom idea/

I would tone it down a little.
What you’re desrcibing now sounds like something you’d get sick of.
Rather than painting a mural (very hard to do well), I’d buy a photo mural from Target or PB Teen.
Rather than an actual hammock, I would look into a hammock chair.
I’d really skip the life guard chair. It isn’t something you’d sit in much. If you’re room is really huge, I would get a futon instead.

I think it is awsome! If you have mirrors or frames, cover them with shells. Instead of curtains, use a bamboo roll up shade. You could always use a beach towel as a rug, put some non slip stuff under it. Maybe hang a beach umbrella over your bed as a canopy?
I am doing a beach theme in my sunroom, but more with shells and pictures, I have pictures of ancestors at the beach from the early 1900’s, with the funny bathing suits! I am going to display a lot of them.
