My sister brings my NANA over my house to visit and NANA always heads straight for my recliner. The problem is it smells like old lady pee when she gets out of the chair. It takes a half a bottle of Frebreze to get the smell out after a week. I had to move the chair outside while it airs out.

I think my sister should have the honors of telling NANA to stay out of the chair.

What are your thoughts on this dilemma?

Hi, my central is on the blink I noticed wetness on the basement floor yesterday, but I was doing laundry so I thought it was something wrong there. Then last night it starts to get warm, the AC unit outside was running non-stop and was making a different noise, slightly louder. I get a chair and feel my vents, the air isn’t blowing cold air, it’s room temp, and the room is HOT. I run outside and the the compressor is running but the fan doesn’t. So I ran in and turned it all off at the thermostat. Now I have no idea what to do, the rest of the week is hazy hot and humid. Any techs out there who could give me a prognosis from just what I’ve described herein? Thank you in advance for you expert advice!!!

Someone at my office just sprayed a ton of WD40 all over her floor by mistake and on her chair too. The office is not well ventilated, and her particular room has no windows (nor does mine). How long will the chemicals stay in the air (and ths smell). It’s flaring up my asthma…
I doubt the first answer is correct because it’s been 45 minutes and the office still reeks and I still can’t breathe..

I bought a decent looking office chair a garage sale, and its one of those with the lever that makes it sink and rise. Problem is, it starts sinking when you sit in it because I guess its leaking air or something, and then it gets really low. Is there some way I can make it just stay in place? Can I open up the tube and fill it with something? Any ideas?

I thought I got the smell of the pee out of my chair, but when it’s nice in here I don’t need the air on, I still can smell the pee in the chair, I don’t know if the pet stuff will work on it. If any body can help me on this I would appreciate it. Please let me know soon.

I’ve seen "chair force", "Air Farce". Are these people jealous because they aren’t in the Air Force or do they really think the Air Force has desk jobs? Is there anyone out there that is tired of hearing this? My hubby is AF, is a crew chief, and works 12 hour days and 6 day work weeks! Some desk job! Why do people think AF doesn’t deploy? My hubby’s been in Iraq 3 times (he’s there now). He goes for 4 months, comes home for 2 weeks and then leaves again. I always tell my 3 year old that If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. Seems like some people on this forum should take that advice!

its like a plastic cover you can put over a vent to make the air not go straight up, but more parallel to the floor…so you can put a chair or coffee table over the vent….i remember them from SOMEWHERE a few years ago…..do you at least know what im talking about?

Sometimes when i sit in my Dad’s blue chair(its mine now since he passed away) I feel this cold air go by my feet but the air in the room is warm.
No one is in front of me or no one has walked by.

Over a Month ago I bought a beanbag chair, it’s not a very expensive one, only cost and it’s an adult xrocker, when I first got it, it had some air in it, it was tight, and kept me off the ground.

When my nephew comes over he’s really rough with it, jumping on it and err… other things, he’s kinda heavy, almost as heavy as me! but I just noticed something about my chair.

It still sits O.K. but I noticed it’s a little flat and when I sit on it my butt goes to the floor!
It’s not ripped from as far as I can tell, (no beans have leaked out) but it seems to have lost it’s air, is this normal? or has he ruined my chair?
