I have a hammock that I really want to put up in my room but I am not allowed to make holes in my wall. Is their any possibility that their is something out there that I can use to keep it up?
I have a rope hammock and need a stand. I would like to get a folding hammock stand so I can just store it away when not in use but all I can find are folding hammock and stand combos, I just want the stand and not another hammock.
Thinking of naming my baby girl Irieanna (eye-ree-Anna). My husband and I were married in Jamaica and one day while we were taking a romantic walk on the beach, we stopped and took a seat on a hammock. We started talking about the future and we agreed that the name Irie (a saying in Jamaica) would be a really cool name and that if we ever had a girl, that’s what we would name her.
Plus my mothers middle name is Irene…so it is sentiment in so many ways. I added the "anna" to try to make it sound a bit less…idk..hippie freak lol…But do you think it’s too "out there" lol. Thank you for your answers!

Going to do my first long ride, I’m planning on riding from key largo to key west (about 100 miles). But I was wondering what do you do for these kind of rides. Things I should bring? Good meal to eat before? Snacks to keep me going? About how long does a 100 mile ride take for a less experienced rider? Also if anyone has ever biked the keys how is it? I’ve read a little on the ride and people have done it and said its not too bad except small patches of small shoulders with traffic and drunk drivers at night, but I won’t be riding at night. Sunscreen is a definite haha, going to be a long, beautiful, hot ride that hopefully ends in a hammock on the beach.
My Papa is retiring and I am working on posters to hang up. My family wants to incorporate a wanted ad for a Walmart Greeter as a joke, this is the best I could come up with. I’m tired, so I want to see if this is even funny or not.

Here is a question for someone well traveled. My husband and i are looking to take a trip in October to some place tropical and those are our options. We are looking for a complete beach vacation, that means the water should be calm and warm enough to swim (we don’t care for pools all that much). Ideally, we are looking for just something breathtaking and simple. We just want to spend few days hanging in the hammocks on the beach. I’m a fifteen year old girl and my bff is a fifteen year old boy. My best friend and I are really close and we definitely don’t have a problem touching each other. We hug a lot and he playfully touches my face, arms, hands and hair. We tell each other everything. Well we were on a school trip together for a month with some other people, and one night we were at dinner with the rest of my group, and he sat across from me. He grabbed my hand (above the table, not below) played with it for a minute, then brought it to his lips and kissed it softly. A little later, he took my hand again, rubbed it against his face, then brought it to his lips, held it there for a second, and then kissed it a couple of times gently. A couple of days later, we were in a place where there were two hammocks, but one was taken, so we laid down together on one of them and he put his arm around me. At a point in time I felt him rest his face against my head and kiss the top of my head gently. Then he moved his head slightly and I waited a minute, then took his hand and kissed it. He seemed fine with that. However, two weeks later, we stayed at a hotel on the beach and he disappeared from the group and I was really scared (because he’s attempted suicide before) but when he came back, he talked to me for a minute, and then I started crying. When he saw that I was crying, he hugged me for a second, then let go for a second to tell me he was sorry for scaring me but he really wanted to go to bed. I said okay and then he hugged me again, really tight. He hugged me for about 2 minutes. But after about one minute, I turned my head and kissed his cheek and I sensed a little surprise in him. However, he didn’t let go of me until a couple minutes later when I let go of him. After we let go, he said goodnight and I said "goodnight, I love you," and then he just nodded. Did he take the kiss and the "I love you" comment the wrong way? Should I refrain from kissing him and saying things like that from now on?
Note: we are not dating, nor are we in love. We’re like brother and sister and we kissed each other to show that we love each other as friends.

I have a toro recycler mdl. #20017 with a bent crank shaft. I have confirmed the shaft is indeed bent. I can not bring myself to just throw the mower away. It was bent by a relative who borrowed it. He states he hit the foot of a hammock stand and the mower cut off and he noticed oil had leaked from the bottom. He couldnt re-start it. I got it back and was able to re-start it like normal and noticed a heck of a vibration. I hoped the blade was bent, but it is definately the shaft thats bent. What can I do. A new comparable model is around 500 bucks. With this economy, thats out of the question, I have tools, wherewithall and some knowledge.

I have a question regarding whether or not I blew it with a female. In my opinion I did, but a few friends have told me I’m being overly negative. So here’s the tale:
I’m in college, as is the female I’m interested in. We met in the spring in a class we both had together. Over the course of the semester we got to know each other and while I thought she was cute and certainly attractive, I didn’t think much of dating her. Well towards the end of the semester she came over to my dorm one night, after I had invited her over to meet my crazy asian roommate. After she met him we both sat at my table (in place of a desk) and worked on homework we had. We chilled and talked about a lot that night and I don’t remember what exactly I said but something I said got her to scoot right next to me. I know it’s no excuse, but I was working on a paper that was due at midnight that night so making a move didn’t really come to mind. So a little later she leaves for her dorm and we don’t talk again until July (aside from small, meaningless text messages).
In July, I’m nearing the end of my summer internship. This internship has provided me with free tickets to a major theme park near me. I have six free admissions, so I ask some of my friends if they’d like to come up. Most decline because they are busy. So in an attempt to use these admissions, rather than waste them, I invite this girl. She jumps on the chance and comes up to the theme parks for two days. The first day we hung out at the parks we had a great time riding the rides, catching up, etc. It seemed to me she was being kindy flirty with me, but I have a tendancy to read into things so I just brushed it off. For example, she grabbed my side when we were talking about working out over the summer and how much weight each of us had lost. Another example would be when we were riding the rollercoasters, she had told me she was afraid of them. I got her to go on them, after a little convincing, and when we got to the big drops she grabbed and held my hand, interlocking our fingers. Ya’ll know what I mean. And she would jump on my back occasionally for a ride. But I just brushed those off because I didn’t want to read into them.
Anyways, she went home that night, because she doesn’t live far from the parks, and came back the next day. We hit up the other theme parks we had missed the previous day and once again had a great time. Later that night we went back to the hotel that she parked her vehicle at. Rather than her leave, however, we decided to hit up the beach of the hotel. She had never been to this hotel so she was amazed at the beach and was exploring. I was dead tired because my summer job started at 4:30 AM and I was up to get myself ready by 3:20 AM. Usually I was in bed by this point, but because I was treating her to this trip I obviously stayed up a lot later. So as we’re walking along the beach we come across a hammock and I crash in it. She joins me but lays at the opposite end. We talk for a little as I fight to stay awake and soon to jokes that she’s going to use me as a pillow and comes over and lays half on me. We continue to talk as she lays on me, but she has her back turned to me. I begin to wonder if I should make a move but needless to say I never do. She texts me while we lay there together, kinda burrowed her face in my arm, and yea. We musta been in that hammock for a few hours. So eventually we get out of there and because its so late I have her stay at my apartment while I leave for work. I didn’t want her driving back so late. (It was like 2:30 AM)
She waits for me to come back from work before she leaves for her job back home. Now she coulda just taken off but she waited. I was surprised but whatever. So I came back to my room, we talked for an hour and then she left.
We didn’t see each other again till we moved back onto campus last week. The day I moved in she wanted to come over and see my new room. So I had her come over later that night and once again we talked, laughed, had a good time. Eventually I closed my door and moved up on the bed with her. But nothing really happened, probably because I didn’t make a move. So she goes back to her dorm.
I see her one more time the next day where I meet some of her friends and her roommate. I talk to them, talk to her, and then I headed out.
So I invited her to a party Friday night and she said she was busy. I invited her to another party on Saturday, as well as offering to take her to lunch. She said maybe but never got back to me about it. So I take it that means she isn’t interested.
I know the world will still turn tomorrow and life goes on, so I’ll be ok. But did my fear of making a move cost me something that coulda been or have I misread something? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
All reviews of the Amby bed state that it helps to PREVENT flathead. My daughter is almost 4 months and has a flat spot that developed on the back of her right side of head (think it was due to tighter neck muscle on that side). Repositioning in her crib has not seemed to help much. Was wondering if the Amby can help to reshape her head to its previously round state.
