I made a teepee hammock by cutting 4 triangles and a square. i cut a hole in one of the triangles and then sewed the triangles to the square. Then sewed all the triangles together. But now i have one problem.. When my rats sit in it, the bottom falls! i need supports but i don’t know what to use or where to put it. I don’t want it to fall apart. What do i do?
I do not mind paying entry fees. Back home in Egypt we have private beaches with music, a bar and sitting lounges and crystal clear waters! Here in LA all the beaches I’ve been to are public and have none of that, basically just a strip of sand where you can go and lie down get some sun. Any help?
Standing in a hammock or on the couch with your grandma sleeping in the recliner?
I have a big sheet and I was thinking about making a hammock, would a metal fence be strong enough?
In the movie Rachel At The Wedding the family had a beautiful kiwi green hammock on their porch. Does anyone know the kind of hammock it is or where it is sold? I’ve been looking online and can’t find one exactly like it.
Thank you.
Oops! I meant Rachel Getting Married.

She will be 8 on 2/2 and when I went in to freshen up her food and water I noticed her hind end was hanging out the side of her hammock. When I picked her up and set her on the carpet to get her some exercise she would not stand up on her back legs. She just lays there. She is blind and her tail is bald. Is this the beginning of the end? I don’t want to take her to the vet if they are just going to put her to sleep. Advice?
I know you all own one, so don’t deny it. Mine’s hot pink ;D
i want to buy my chinchilla a comfy rest place but im concerned that i will not find the right one.
I was also wondering if there are hammocks that my chinchilla will not be able to chew up.
Sunshine….daisies…..lemonade…lying in a hammock for hours at a time…..the beach…..

I bought a Seacliff 3 person hammock swing at Walmart and the top awning has ripped. Any ideas where to get a replacement. Walmart does not sell replacements and searching yielded no results. Any hints as to where I can go.
Thanks.
15 year-old boy-Big Dream
Im just a little ‘ol boy in a pretty big world.
And all im wanting is this one little girl.
Im just a little ‘ol boy with a pretty big dream.
Is it fake? Is it real? Im caught inbetween.
Walking down the beach just holding your hand.
Leaving our foot prints imbedded in the sand.
Laying in a hammock, just gazing at the satrs.
I’d have the world with you in my arms.
Me going down to one knee.
Then i’d offer you a diamond ring.
We’d have a few kids and bring them up right.
When all is said and done, we’ve lived the perfect life.
Me waiting for you at the pearly gates.
We’d enter a perfect world w/o any hate.
Seeing all the face of the ones we loved and knew.
An eternity in heaven, spending it with you.
Thats my life plan.
That’s what i want to do.
How do you like this poem i wrote??
Just wondering if they are practical and comfortable before buying mattresses for my fishing cabin.
The working load is about 300 pounds. I was thinking maybe I could use two pieces for each side, for extra safety, but I’m not positive that this is a good idea.
Thanks!
i was wearing a speedo and the hammock I was laying in was red, not yellow?
and i don’t mean a hammock
I was raised by a very Italian man whose name would have been Salvatore Cannizzo and he will be remembered as such in my eyes. He was a good father, excellent provider and a good businessman. Hence, he influences me everyday and when I work, I can hear him. As a family, we owned and operated an Italian Restaurant in Homestead Florida in the 80’s. I grew up in Homestead Florida, where hurricane Andrew obliterated my home town neiborhood (I wasnt’ there when it happened). In Florida, I learned to like the beach, oysters, Jimmy Buffet, and lots of swimming. If I had stayed in Florida, I would have turned into a dope-smokin, mango eatin, deep-sea fishin, scuba-divin, hammock sleepin parrothead. I was good at track in high school and ran the hurdles. My good father is poor and lives somewhere in rural Okeechobbee. My good mother is semi-quasi rich and own a million dollar home in Urban Orlando. With all that I experienced in Florida, living in Montana has really taught me to appricate a nice weather day when it happens. I have typical generation x values: I distrust big institutions that I don’t know about, I don’t like living by too many rules, I am a non-conformist, I don’t like it when people wear the same clothes as me, I did (at one point as a teenager) have an identity crisis. I reject status, money and social climbing so typical of baby-boomers. I personally only want what I want out of life and since luxury is alot cheaper, I only have to worry about having fun at work and enjoying what I do. I put a higher priority on happiness. I HATE lables. I can’t stand them. I definetely embrace risk and I am highly independent, sometimes aloof. It has been said that I lack interpersonal skills but that maybe because I do from time to time. I place a high priority on parenting and I think I might have overindulged my children. Oh, Well, I’ll work on that. Im not a work-a-holic but I do try to work hard if I really want something.
Who I’d like to meet:
If you like pina-coladas, and gettin’ caught in the rain, if your not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain, if you like makin’ love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape, I’m the love that you looked for….write to me and escape. Yes, I like pina-coladas, and gettin’ caught in the rain, I’m not much into health food, I am into champaign, I got to meet you by tommorrow noon, at the bar in O’Mallys, where we will plan our escape
